A Vibrant Yoruba Traditional Wedding and Elegant White Wedding
Liz & Seun
While it is becoming common for couple to have both their traditional and white wedding on the same day, Liz & Seun chose to have both weddings on separate days. The Yoruba traditional wedding was few days apart from the white wedding and we had the privilege of planning both! The Nigerian Yoruba traditional wedding was a more vibrant affair while the white wedding was simple and intimate. Enjoy photos from both weddings below.
The colour scheme for the Yoruba traditional wedding was ivory/white with greenery and burnt orange while the colour scheme for the white wedding was white with a touch of gold and green.
The couple opted to go with fresh flowers for their centrepieces on gold urn with gold votive candle holders, it was simple yet elegant. The flowers used were white/ivory roses, baby’s breaths and hydrangeas with foliage.
The cellist, violinist, pianist and singer performed the couple’s first dance song Etta James, At Last live and it was romantic.
