Abbey and Samuel’s love journey began while both were travelling with friends on holiday in Miami. The couple described their meeting as finding the missing part of each other’s puzzle. Samuel proposed to Abbey after a romantic candlelight dinner at one of the highest buildings in Europe, The Shard then the wedding planning journey began for the couple.
The couple got married in a stunning intimate romantic destination wedding in Santorini, Greece surrounded by the love and support of family and friends. The religious ceremony was breath-taking as the couple exchanged their vows with the caldera as a backdrop view, it was beautiful.
Complementing the natural beauty of the venue, the outdoor reception features a white, soft pink and greenery floral arrangement with charming gold accents and romantic candles. Instead of the traditional table numbers, the couple opted for table names of different cities such as Barcelona, Miami, Dubai etc. The backdrop of the volcano and breath-taking sunset was one of the highlights of the day, it was magnificent! The couple’s first dance was so magical with the rainfall fireworks in the background.
It was a beautiful intimate wedding with only 54 guests. Now you’re probably thinking the couple certainly can’t be African, Lol! They are both from Nigeria. So, contrary to the believe that it is difficult to have a small guest count at African weddings, this is definitely possible!
